Better Late than Never

On November 28, 2009, in Fandom, For Fun, by Bill

WKRP in Cincinnati was one of those rare TV shows than got everything right: cast, writers, producers, but still failed.  But it will never fade completely from our TV landscape because of one episode in the first season that gave a new meaning to Thanksgiving for a generation.

The show is a favorite of older bloggers around Thanksgiving, but because of copyright issues with music clearances and such (just like Ally McBeal), it has been difficult to find on-line. However, thanks to Hulu.com, my adult kids and grandkids can see this program the same way I saw it 30 years ago.  So, during this Thanksgiving weekend, here is Episode 7, Season1, WKRP in Cincinnati: Turkeys Away.
