Free Food for U. S. Veterans

Starting this weekend, several national restaurant chains will offer food specials to honor veterans for their service.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar is inviting veterans and active-duty members of the military in on Veterans Day for a free entree among six menu favorites at all of the chain’s locations.

At all Outback Steakhouse restaurants, veterans on Wednesday will receive a free Bloomin’ Onion appetizer and a beverage of choice, either a non-alcoholic drink or one draft Anheuser-Busch beer.

The Krispy Kreme chain is giving veterans and active-duty military a free doughnut of their choice on Wednesday at any of their 530 U.S. locations.

Golden Corral is hosting a Military Appreciation Day on Nov. 16.  The event will take place from 5 PM to 9 PM at all nationwide locations . Anyone who has served in the U.S. military, National Guard or Reserves will get a free buffet dinner.
