I have resisted for years, but I have finally established (opened?) a Facebook account. I have absolutely no idea what I will do with it or why I opened it when this site is finally working for me the way I wanted. I will initially post these links back to Facebook (except for this one), but again I’m not sure how long I will even do that.
The Sunday Doonesbury strip for 8 November 2009 really brought home for me the potential problems I could have by adding another social networking site to the list of sites where I have a presence. And honestly? I’m not smart enough to figure out how to re-establish my “brand” if it gets hosed because I got sloppy with my privacy.
Anyway, I am on Facebook as Bill Ash. If you know me, you’ll find me.
